I called in on a Saturday evening after I saw a mouse run across my living room floor and got a text back straight away -- Michael was over Sunday morning! He definitely put my mind at ease and though the initial cost was a bit steeper than I expected, his services were well worth the money. Now, three or so weeks later, I haven't seen mice nor are there any in the traps. If I ever have any issues again he's definitely going to be the first person I call!

Anyway, he was a thorough professional and really knows what he's talking about. Michael called out on a Sunday am, after a 10pm call on Saturday! to help against mice. This was in a rental house and whilst he kept in touch with me, he was great at bringing peace of mind to my tenants. He took calls and kept going back until all was clear (fingers crossed). We rang Michael at 10am on Friday morning as we discovered we had mice in the house and he was out withing a couple of hours. He set to work straight away and was extremely thorough in checking the whole house for entry points and set traps where necessary. His second visit was today (18th Feb 2020) and he checked all traps again and reset them making us feel much more at ease (as approx 14 mice were caught since his first visit). He's a very pleasent and efficient worker and he has made us feel a lot more at ease. I would highly recommend Effective Pest Control.

Cannot recommend Michael highly enough!!!! He was amazing! Arrived at our house at short notice and was at the other end of the phone at all times. We had a rat in our house and Michael went over and above to help get rid of it and prevent others from entering! He was very knowledgeable on the matter and was able to find the entry points and block them off to prevent further issues!!! After fitting the rat flap and laying down bait Michael came back another day to check everything! He even came out a third time while we were getting our drains surveyed!!! We had a large wasp hive in the attic, they started coming through the ceiling to the kitchen so rang effective pest control. I discovered a wasps nest and contacted Michael. He was a pleasure to deal with. Called out the next day and dealt with the nest very quickly. I was shocked to learn there was up to 4000 wasps there. Had wasps behind a vent in my house walls. Michael came out very quickly and removed. He said he would come out again if the wasps returned that season for free. The wasps moved to a bush in the front garden. Michael came back and treated the bush - wasps are gone! He was always prompt, very reasonable and pleasant. I highly recommend him!

I contacted Michael by email at the weekend to treat a wasps nest behind the soffit on a balcony below the eaves of my house. He replied within a couple of hours and during the weekend. He was available to come to the house promptly. Michael is very professional, easy to deal with, and gave me all the info needed. He arrived on time, and had the nest treated within 10 minutes. The wasps were visibly starting to die within the hour. Mostly gone now 2 hrs later. Very happy with the service, would recommend and use again.

Highly recommended. Very fast and efficient service. The (original) job was to remove a wasp nest in the garden shed which Michael did with ease. I was going to try to and treat it myself with wasp nest killer foam - thankfully I called in the expert because Michael noticed wasp activity under the roof of the house and there was actually a second much larger nest (5 to 10 thousand wasps!) in the attic. Michael treated the area, at no extra cost, where they were entering with a 6m pole and spray - an expert in his field.

Great Service - Michael was easy to contact by email and then we corresponded by text. He arrived on time and gave me some brief information about wasps and what I could expect to happen after he had sprayed the nest for me - it took him about 10 mins. The wasps are gone! But Michael did assure me that if I had any issues that I could contact him and that he would call back out to me. Great service - would highly recommend!

I cannot recommend Effective Pest Control highly enough. They were very knowledgeable and easy to deal with. They came out the next morning after we contacted them and very quickly diagnosed the problem (we had rats). They then dealt with it effectively and in a no-nonsense manner. We have not had a problem since.

Excellent service from Michael. I discovered a wasps nest which needed to be dealt with promptly due to it's position and the fact that small children regularly play in the area it was in. I emailed Michael after hours and he immediately replied, I wasn't expecting to hear back from him until the next day during office hours. He arranged to call out and less than 24 hours after first contacting him, the nest was dealt with. His number is definitely being saved for future reference and to pass on to anyone I know who needs his pest control services.

Michael made his first visit on the day we rang him. He has made a few visits since then, to lay more mouse traps and clear up the used ones. He is efficient and it has been relatively easy setting up the timing for those visits, he’s even available after office hours.
